ProStack CS2

Cookie Policy

This policy explains the cookies and browser storage used by ProStack, why they exist, and how you can control them. It should be read together with the Privacy Policy.

Last updated: 23 October 2026Version 2026-10-23

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. They can keep a session alive, remember a preference or measure how a feature is used. Similar technologies include localStorage, which stores data in your browser without sending it with every request.

2. Categories we use

  • Strictly necessary: required to sign you in, protect your session and remember your consent. These cannot be switched off through our banner.
  • Analytics (optional): anonymous product events that help us detect broken flows and improve the interface. Disabled by default.
  • Marketing (optional): measurement of affiliate or advertising campaigns. Disabled by default.

3. Cookies and storage

NameTypePurposeDuration
prostack-sessionEssential cookieSigned, HTTP-only session containing your Steam profile. Used to authenticate API requests.30 days
prostack-steam-stateEssential cookieShort-lived, HTTP-only anti-CSRF value used only during the Steam login redirect.10 minutes
prostack_cookie_consentEssential cookieStores your consent version and enabled categories.12 months
prostack-languagePreference (localStorage)Remembers the interface language on this device.Until cleared
prostack-themePreference (localStorage)Remembers light or dark mode.Until cleared
prostack-cookie-consentPreference (localStorage)Full consent record, including timestamp.Until cleared
prostack-onboarding-tourPreference (localStorage)Remembers whether the dashboard tour was completed.Until cleared

Names of localStorage keys are indicative and may change. Local preferences are not transmitted to us with each request. Optional analytics and marketing categories remain off until you opt in.

4. Legal basis and consent

Essential cookies are used because they are necessary to provide the service you requested. Optional analytics and marketing storage relies on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Refusing optional cookies does not block the core service.

5. How to manage your choice

  • Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to reopen the consent panel and change categories.
  • Clear cookies and site data in your browser to remove existing storage.
  • Use your browser’s privacy settings or extensions to block third-party requests.
  • If you block the session cookie, you will not be able to stay signed in.

6. Third-party cookies

The current version of ProStack does not load third-party advertising scripts. If we introduce them, they will only load after marketing consent, and this policy and the consent panel will be updated before activation.

7. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when our storage practices change. The current version and date are shown on this page. Questions: pausilvest@gmail.com.
